I Can Redeem Myself!!

Okay, so your probably all heard about my massive screw-up the other day, but guess what!? It apparently wasn't that big of a deal, because I just got another! In fact, TWO others ( Oh dang, these things just keep on coming!!).

Okay, so first off, BIG thanks to Kirsten Lopresti for taking pity on my failure and giving me another chance :)

And now for the awards!

Aren't they beautiful?

Now, for me to be able to accept these wonderful little things, I need to do a couple things. They are:

1) Thank and link to the person who nominates you.
2) Share seven random facts about yourself.
3) Pass the award to five more blogger friends.
4) Contact and congratulate the blogs nominated.

So, now for the random facts! (And I warn you, they are random).

1. For all my life I hated chocolate (except for brownies... do brownies even count?),  but then about a year ago I was introduced to our local fudge shop, and let's just say, my life was changed ( and so was their supply of milk chocolate....)

2. I won third place in an international youth art competition a couple years ago (but only after I entered it for five straight years).

3. I can't sing. For my life. ( And I really wish I could).

4. When I was little ( as in, like up to a couple years ago...) I was the biggest tom-boy you'd ever seen, and I let you know it just by looking at me. Thankfully, I have since stopped my wearing-my-brothers-hand-me-downs-days, and while I don wear girl clothes, I still don't wear pink.

5. I like wearing big comfy t-shirts on the weekends, and sweatpants when its rainy.

6. I'm a Mormon :)

7. I like bike riding more than running. You get the wind in your face, can move a lot faster, and its not as hard ( I can run for about two minutes straight but can bike for probably more than thirty).

And now for the nominations! (that I hopefully won't screw up this time...). Okay, so here goes nothin':

1. Michelle Merrill at Perfecting the Craft
2. Cortney Pearson at Cortney Pearson
3. Lori M. Lee at You Are the Unicorn of My Dreams ( And she draws too!!)
4. Lindsay N. Currie at Lindsay N. Currie

Whoo, I did it! And now I can bask in the glory baby.... and get started on my Campaigning entry.

Well, no question today,  cus I can't think of one thats related to this topic (that I haven't used yet)...- OH WAIT! Yes I can! How about sharing two random facts about you? I'd love to get to know you all better! Comment below! :)

  1. Thanks for awards! I loved reading your list, especially your remarks in parentheses (I love using parentheses too) :D

  2. Awww, thanks Rachel! I love your list and will dedicate my blog post tomorrow to these seven things:)

  3. Thanks guys! :D

(Haha, and yeah, parentheses are pretty aweseome ;)

  4. Thanks so much Rachel!

Here are a few random things to match yours.

I'm a Mormon and I can't run...ever. I hate it. And I have bad knees. And bad wrists, and bad veins, and bad...okay you get the idea. How am I holding together? Who knows!

I loved all your facts. As much as I'm not a chocolate lover, a good milk chocolate can not be passed up on.

It was fun to learn more about you.

  5. I'm with you on the singing. I'm terrible at it, and it's probably the one thing more than anything that I wish I could do.

If it rains on the weekend I don't get out of my pyjamas :-)

  6. Ooh, fun facts! I could totally tell from your profile pic that you're a tomboy. Lol!!

Two random facts about me: I like potatoes in each and every format... except mashed! Something about the texture... I'm currently eating Smart Food cheese-covered popcorn as I read this. At nine in the morning. ;-)

  7. Great facts! I can't sing either, and I also love fudge. You've definitely redeemed yourself!

  8. another Mormon in the house ;-)... And I loved chocolate until very recently when I got pregnant and now the morning sickness is making it impossible for me to enjoy my old best friend.

  9. Hello fellow Mormons!! haha :)

Good to know that not only have I redeemed myself, but I'm not the only writer who cant sing :)

And Crystal, haha, that picture was taken at camp (I don't usually walk around in bandannas... even though i wish i had more excuses to :)

  10. 1) My baby's middle name (Jackson), is from a road I often take called "Jackson Avenue" right off the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. My husband and I were driving on it when I said, "How about Anwell Jackson?" We didn't think we'd use it, as I thought our baby was going to be a girl.

    2) Ella Enchanted is the worst book-to-movie adaption that I've ever seen. Because it was so terrible, I couldn't even decide who to blame. I chose Anne Hathaway, and I still don't forgive her. I know this is silly and I don't care.

  11. Thanks, Rachel! I should have commented on this before, but there was far-far-awaying and no-cell-service-ing going on. :)
